Successful Virtual farm open day!

On Saturday 4th April 2020 Romney Marsh Wools held the first VIRTUAL farm open day across their social media channels. The virtual event, which took place following the postponement of their planned farm open day, gave viewers the chance to learn more about the family farm, with videos & photos from the farm, including more about the Romney & Merino sheep, their wool, lambing, a tour of Romney Marsh Shepherds Huts and even a ‘live’ lamb feed.

19 virtual stand holders also joined the event, including Produced in Kent members, independent Kent food & drink producers, makers and friends of Romney Marsh Wools.

A big thank you to all who tuned in and took part - if you missed out you can find the full day on Romney Marsh Wools’ instagram story highlights @romneymarshwools and there is a full list of virtual stand holders at https://romneymarshwools.co.uk/blog/-virtual-open-day-april-2020. Plans for the next virtual open day are already underway – more details to be announced soon.
